OUR PROCESS
ABOUT YOU
The first stage in successfully designing a closet for you is to know as much as we can about your personal needs for storage. We like to meet with you at your house to go over the type of clothes that you have and how you like to store them. Do you hang your pants straight or fold in half? How much single full length hanging do you need? How much double hanging do you need? Do you like partitioned drawers to organize your small things? Do you like to store sweaters and shirts on open shelving or do you like drawers instead? Do you need accessories for storing belts and ties? After knowing about your closet storage needs, we can then discuss interior and exterior materials of the cabinetry and closet system. After knowing these things about you, we can then start the design process.
DESIGN
After understanding your needs, we will measure the closet space and start the design process. We have skilled design people in our office that can produce professional CAD drawings for review. We will produce floor plan drawings and elevation drawings for the customer to review with us. The customer if needed can then edit these drawings to come up with the perfect storage solution for them. Our design team would then make the revisions to the drawings and then produce a proposal for production and installation.
PRODUCTION
After the design process and acceptance of our proposal, we are ready to start production. Your project will then be produced in our state of the art woodworking shop. We produce your project using CNC equipment, which is a computer-controlled machine that produces precision parts with great accuracy and efficiency. After assembly of cabinets, drawers, and shelving your project is ready to be installed. The time needed to complete a closet project depends on our work schedule at the time and size of project. We are a custom cabinet shop that produces everything, which gives us a lot of control of our schedule.
INSTALLATION
After your project is completed in our shop it, is ready to be delivered to your house and installed by our professional installers. If the closet is wood and needs to be pre-finished by us, it would be sent to one of our finishers prior to delivery. The time required to complete a closet installation varies according to size and design of closet. A basic melamine reach in closet usually wouldn't take more than one day. A detailed walk in closet with wood finishes could take around five days.
